What are the symptoms of type 2 diabetes?
Signs of type 2 diabetes often develop slowly. In fact, you can be living with T2D for years and not even know it (a big reason why it’s undiagnosed in 23% of people with the disease). When signs and symptoms are present, they may include:
Increased thirst
Needing to urinate more frequently
Increased hunger
Unexplained weight loss
Fatigue
Blurry vision
Sores that heal slowly
Frequent infections
Feeling numbness or tingling in the hands or feet
Developing areas of darkened skin, usually in the arm
pits and neck
