I will go ahead and assume, you want traffic from search engines not paid traffic.

5,000 visitors a day is roughly 150,000 visitors a month. For a blog, you can expect around 500–1000 visitors per post, assuming a post ranks on the first page of Google in a not crazy competitive niche.

Note that it takes around 8 months to a year for each post to achieve its full potential on Search Engines.
